Story:

The story is very interesting. There is not one, but two main plots. First you have to defeat a great evil creature who wants to destroy the world. You also have to defeat an evil emperor who wishes to conquer the world. The idea for the game is good, but the story is a little like a "go get that, go do this, go get another thing" kind of game. .

Graphics :

This game has a pastel palette which gives the game a refreshing look. The characters are small and not very detailed. The maps are mostly tile-based, which is OK. The battle engine looks a lot like Dragon Warrior. It has a good nostalgic feel if you liked the Dragon Warrior series.

Music and Sounds:

The music is like most Enix games: average. Thought it's not a symphony orchestra, it's pretty good and supports the game well. It can get a little tiring, listening to the same song over and over but it's part of the RPG challenge.

Theme and Fun:

This game is good. I can't tell you it's great, but it is good. Like most Enix games, it's really hard. I got tired of playing it because of the difficulty and the repetitive story. One aspect of the game that is really interesting is that you get to choose two out four members of your team. You'll have a chance to choose out of fifty or so characters. If you really looking for a new RPG, this could be the answer but you have to be a real RPG fanatic.
